2. Services Offered
KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING specializes in shipping packages an cargo to Jamaica. We also offer consolidation services. All shipments are processed based on availability and standard shipping procedures.
3. Shipping and Delivery
While we strive to ensure timely and secure delivery of all packages, delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, weather, transportation delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping and recipient information.
4. Package Collection and Storage Fees
Customers will be notified once their package is ready for collection in Jamaica.
Collection Period: Packages must be collected within 10 calendar days of notification.
Storage Fee: A storage fee of $100 JMD per day will be applied to any package not collected after the 10-day grace period.
Unclaimed Packages: If a package remains uncollected for more than 30 days, and no arrangement has been made, KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING reserves the right to dispose of or return the package at our discretion. No refunds will be issued for unclaimed or abandoned packages.
5. Payments
All service charges must be paid in full before shipment or package release unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in delayed delivery or additional fees.
6. Liability
We handle all packages with care; however, KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay beyond the coverage of the declared value or optional insurance purchased. We recommend purchasing insurance for high-value or fragile items.
7. Prohibited Items
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items shipped are not prohibited or restricted under Jamaican law or applicable international regulations. Prohibited items may be confiscated, and the sender may be held liable for fines or penalties.
8. Claims
All claims for lost or damaged packages must be submitted in writing to KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING within 7 days of delivery or the expected delivery date. Supporting documents must be provided for claim processing.
9. Amendments
KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will take immediate effect upon posting.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which KGA EXPRESS SHIPPING operates.
